Hola amigos! This is me, el jefe, the boss! Welcome to my website and I hope you enjoy. Let me introduce myself: I'm from Peru, although I'm often visiting other countries in the Amazonian and Mesoamerican region, especially Equador, Colombia, Brazil, whole Central America and Mexico. In this region, I know every plant, every tree and every fruit. Well, maybe not all of them but most of them. Although not as important as "El jefe" the Smoking Toucan, I still have some say in our project. Especially when work needs to be done and Toucan says "mañana". In such case, it's me who is writing articles, collecting money for Amazonian rainforest and answering emails. As a huge fan and student of Amazonian medicine and spirituality I enjoy all of it. I'm extremely lucky and privileged to have some great teachers, mostly native American curanderos (healers and shamans) whom I hope to introduce to you on this website and on our social media chanels. You better ask: "What is this toucan smoking?" Of course, it's not the horrible commercial stuff that you Gringos and Europeans call "tobacco" and which gives millions of you lung cancer. This is wild tobacco, healing substance which some of us curanderos are using during special spiritual ceremonies. Such tobacco is a very, very strong medicine! So now you know.
